Bark & Rock craftsmen handmake these stunning books at their Surrey-based workshop, taking four days to make one journal from start to finish. Bark & Rock recently launched its new Walnut Burr notebook, the veneer of which is the same that can be seen on a Bentley dashboard! The B5-sized edition is made from the burr of the Walnut tree, in a growth normally found in the root system offering wonderful wood grain patterns, meaning no two books look the same. The walnut veneer is only extracted once the tree has passed its peak nut harvesting, when the tree is cut down and replaced with a new one.
