This facial oil also contains Lyonsleaf’s homegrown soothing Calendula extract, but the star of the show is the Marshmallow extract – a very potent dose of it (Marshmallow macerated oil makes up a whopping 50% of this product). Marshmallow has acquired a reputation as a skin saviour an anti-ager and rejuvenator, it is known for improving a cells ability to hold moisture, plumping skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

An extraordinary oil, light and easily absorbed, yet rich and deeply nourishing. This oil is host to a broad range of fatty acids that really boost skin’s lipid content, helping maintain good skin barrier and helping the skin retain moisture. Rosehip oil and borage oil contain large amounts of linoleic fatty acid (an essential fatty acid that your body cannot make itself). They also contain GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) which is normally made in the body from linoleic acid but some people with difficult skin do not have the enzyme needed for this to be made and therefore their skin barrier has less integrity.
