Digital Nomad: Henry Wood House, Oxford Circus

It’s been a busy few months for StyleAble’s ever increasing team of fabulous writers! (modest aren’t we). It is unfortunate that we are all based in different parts of the country – very rarely are we all in the same place at the same time. Today (and for the next month) three of us will be working from Henry Wood House in Oxford St, London. By Kiesha Meikle

What most people don’t see (well, we don’t show you) is the amount of work and activity that goes into maintaining any blog or website. The meetings, events and pitching are all a part of the fun, but it’s not always easy – especially when you have to travel across London to get from one meeting to another.

Working remotely helps – if you are organised. Setting out early and finding a space close to the day’s activities means that you will have time to work and get to your appointments, without the last minute rushing and fuss. BTW: that was a top tip.

Oh and working centrally has it’s advantages…

Being based in central London means easy access to Zara, Top Shop and Mac. However, more importantly for our team, there is now only a short walk to a number of the PRs we work with, the many press shows and restaurants we have lined up to attend and review and our lunchtime options have improved greatly.

We haven’t quite figured out how we can all work from the Caribbean yet (and make it back in time for our London appointments)…but give us time.

We will keep you posted on all thing StyleAble, from our new home at Henry Wood House. Visit us to find out more from the team…
