When it comes to British fashion, no one exemplifies the colourful, creative eccentricities like the Great Dame herself, Vivienne Westwood. Since the 1970’s, Westwood has been a pivotal figure in alternative fashion, creating some of the era’s most iconic punk garments with her partner Malcolm McLaren. Fast forward to 2014 and the designer is still making waves both on the catwalk and off, using her platform as a revered designer to challenge fracking laws and campaign for a multitude of other environmental issues.
