My children can use an Ipad better than I can. They are both under the age of 4.

Am I just rubbish at navigating a touch screen? No. The truth is the world has leapt ahead when it comes to the use of technology and software for ALL of us – businesses, individual consumers and even children under the age 4.

Woman on tech with baby

I read an article recently that said the total number of app downloads in 2018 was 194 billion. That number is projected to grow to 205 billion this year and 258 billion in 2022. To state the obvious, we are using apps ALOT.

In an era where everyone seems to be starting a business, this is not to be overlooked.

What this means is, if you are starting a business without thinking about how to make it tech friendly / ready / supported you will be setting yourself up to fail. Regardless of whether your aspirations are for a local flower shop or the next Etsy, Graze, Uber, Tik Tok or even Google – getting up to speed with the technology and software now available from providers like Ridecell and others like them, has become an absolute must. This is particularly important when it comes to getting your customer service just right.

Woman at till using tech

Times have changed and the average consumer demands more. A personalised service that allows them to access your products and services easily.

Man on mobile phone

From entertainment to education, meditation to mediation, consumers want their lifestyle’s to be made easier in a myriad of ways. Need a ride? You can now track your driver whilst he is on the way to your house. Need something to eat? You can know EXACTLY when your food will be delivered and by who. Need your hair done?…well, you get the point. And all this at the click of a button. This is not the future…this is now. Is your business tech ready?

It better be.
